Story Overview:
- Yelp’s review system is governed by AI, but is unable to determine a fake review from a real review even though Yelp makes unverified claims of it’s trustworthiness. Either Yelp’s AI is politically motivated and purposefully suppresses some real reviews for political reason or their AI is completely useless.
- Yelp supports the defamation and suppression of small businesses, entrepreneurs, freelancers who share political views not shared by the establishment, them or their partners in Big-Tech.
- Yelp’s AI automatically removes legitimate reviews from real customers, while needing assistance from a live human being to find bad reviews from non-customers who spew hate speech.
If you have ever had an issue with Yelp and their review system you are not the only one, you can search and find many complaints about this online. You can also find articles toting how great Yelp’s review system is at determining a real review from one that’s fake… bullsh#t, excuse me. Yelp brags about their AI system that automatically weeds out fake reviews, but in my experience it’s quite the contrary. Yelp’s review system seems not only focused on determining a real review from a fake one, but also seems to weed out reviews based upon political views as well. I’ve found that their AI, if that is what is really governing their reviews, also deletes or tries to erase any reviews that may give a political dissident any credibility. Sound far fetch? Then this article is probably not for you, lol.

We had a review posted on Yelp from a non-customer who attacked us for our personal views on health. We didn’t even know this person. This person was allowed to leave us a 1-star rating even though they were not a customer and their review had nothing to do with rating our products and services.Yelp supposedly uses an advance AI system to detect fake reviews and their representatives boast about how great their system is, and why you should trust their reviews over other reviews found elsewhere on the web. This simply was not our experience. We had a suspicion that others experienced the incompetence of their AI review system so we decided to write this article to help get the word out. In our case, Yelp’s AI was unable to detect, what should have been an extremely easy fake review to detect. The review in question, not only came from a non-customer and someone we did not even know, but their content or review, was in clear violation of Yelp’s own policies, even categorized under “hate speech”. Yet, Yelp depended on us, real live human-beings, to detect and notify them of the obscene, politically motivated attack. When contacting them, they admitted the violation without an apology and removed the review from the VooreCreative profile page… But strangely, Yelp still left the fake review live with only the 1-star mark displayed without the hateful text, posted on an sub-page titled “Not Recommended Reviews”. WTFrank? Does this make sense to anyone else out? What would be their reasoning for leaving a fake review that should not have even been posted in the first place? Why not just remove the fake review completely? After all, the review contained no information that would help a perspective buyer make an informed decision. So again, why keep it? It gets worse. Yelp’s AI banned 5X other positive reviews from our real customers, which strangely enough, Yelp placed these 5X real reviews under the same section as the fake one. Under the “Not Recommended Reviews” section. Obviously Yelp is both judge and jury and their response to this issue was purposeful and thought out, BUT what’s their reasoning for defaming a small business or allowing their platform to be abused by others to defame our small business? Their review system should help small businesses and consumers make informed decisions, PERIOD. Yelp should not be catering to one political view over the other and if this is the case, Yelp should be more transparent and inform the public of their true mission and intentions. Again, if their system is targeting individuals and/or companies for political reasons, then the public should be made aware. Also, the fact that this false review was not detected by their AI system and allowed to remain for God knows how long, while real reviews were removed, shows that Yelp’s review system is flawed and cannot be trusted. This type of harassment is not an isolated incident as we have had a barrage of politically motivated attacks in the past for simply choosing health freedom over health tyranny. How many other businesses out there are being targeted, harassed and defamed like ours?
Big-tech scrubs little guys from the web
Yelp’s AI system is helping to scrub the web from all political dissidents like us. Years of hard work building a positive reputation online, real reviews from customers showing their satisfaction with the products and services purchased, articles that tell it like it is, are all being wiped from the web today. Like stone masons in Egypt who removed the names of dissidents from monuments, maybe AI once connected to all areas of society, will be actively performing the same function….
